| The course allows students to involve themselves more thoroughly in our democratic process. Since most seniors will be eligible to participate in the election process after turning 18, this course should prove helpful in creating an interest and awareness of that procedure. Many local, state, and federal political issues are examined in hopes that these students will be better informed when they become involved in government. An out-of-class project is required. | |
