| This class is designed for the hard-working student who would like to be involved in drama behind the scenes. The class will cover the technical aspects of production with an emphasis on reading a script from a technical point of view to designing the set, sound, and lighting for a production. Students will build the set and assist the Drama Productions 1-2 students in learning the sound and lighting systems. During production time, work outside of class may total as many as 20 hours a week. Advanced Drama students are given priority for running paid events. Occasionally, students are hired by other facilities in the community. Appropriate behavior and the following of school rules are expected at all after school work calls, rehearsals, and activities. | |
