| This course is designed for students that have completed a series of CTE courses in Auto Shop. In order to complete the required sequence, students should begin planning schedules as early as their freshman year. After being interviewed and accepted into the program, students will have job placement assistance with emphasis on skill development and career exploration. Students will enroll in a daily Co-op class, as well as work in an automotive related job. Arizona State Standards include completing independent study assignments, conducting a job search, applying for and securing employment in an approved job, and succeeding on the job. A shortened senior schedule allows time to complete at least 15 hours a week on the job. | |
