| Students in the B.E.S.T. English class are grouped according to reading ability. Within these groupings, students are taught basic skills to assist them in being more functional in the everyday tasks that adults encounter. Students earn points based upon their ability, effort and attitude. Phonetic writing and reading skills are taught in addition to listening, reading comprehension and spelling words from a basic vocabulary list. | |
