Pep Assembly

Assembly Etiquette

Prescott High School strives for fine student conduct during assemblies and that hospitality and courtesy be shown to guests. All students and faculty are required to attend mandatory assemblies.

Proceed to the assembly promptly. If you are unavoidably late, please enter quietly at an appropriate point in the program where you will be least noticeable, least discourteous, and least offensive to other spectators.

Enter the assembly quietly and take a seat immediately. As soon as attention is requested, give your undivided attention to the speaker during the entire program. Be conscious of your etiquette so that you do not take the attention of other students away from the program.

As a reminder to all students, it is the Prescott High School tradition to signify appreciation by applause when appropriate. At no time should there be any type of applause other than clapping of hands. Any inappropriate behavior during any kind of assembly program is impolite and rude and not to be expected from mature high school students.

Dismissal from assembly is always given by the presiding officer.
