This course enhances the experiences started in Tech Woods. Students are exposed to the principles of design, production, and construction as it relates to furniture and cabinet making as a career. Students will use special jigs, fixtures, cutting schedules, and problem solving to produce quality products. Students will have the opportunity to earn money from a variety of customers including the Oak Tree Furniture Store. The fee covers moderate use of consumable items. For subsequent projects, student will pay for lumber or provide their own. Completion of this course qualifies the student for entry-level woodworking employment.
