Certified by the North Central Association since 1917 and providing 9th through 12th graders many flexible options, PHS offers the full spectrum of academics, including Advanced Placement and Honors courses complemented by athletics, theater, fine arts, choir, band, and vocational education programs. The effectiveness of such an educational experience as a competitive edge for the future is demonstrated by the accomplishments of PHS graduates who have received the nation's most prestigious scholarships and attended its top colleges, including all four service academies.
