Curriculum - Grades K-5

This curriculum is designed to guide instruction of the Arizona Academic Standards and district objectives in the core content areas taught at the elementary level. It is organized by grade level so that teachers can plan instruction in the concepts children are expected to know and be able to do at their grade level in Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. The Computer Literacy curriculum is meant to be integrated into other content areas. We recognize that the use of computers can be an effective tool in teaching.

Many thanks to the hard-working teachers in Prescott Unified School District who are dedicated to teaching the concepts and objectives herein. Appreciation is also expressed to those who serve on curriculum revision committees and assist in writing the content area sections of the following curriculum guides.
